I decided to use a video of someone lip syncing to a song in order to see how to get the timing right.
I came to the conclusion that if a person is lip syncing with the music in the background whilst filming, the accuracy of timing is a lot better and therefore when the song is played over the footage, we can mute the video and the lip syncing will be a lot more accurate compared to if they were just lip syncing with no music and having to make sure that the song played over is in time with the footage.
